Coach
Andres’s passion for developing young players is infectious in his sessions. He currently works with the 10G Harlequins and 12G Blue as he assists the club in developing players for the older age groups.
Andres joined DMV FC for the inaugural season in 2021. He has his USSF “C” license and Conmebol Youth “C” license.
Coaching Experience
Andres has coached for many years in clubs all around the area, including Annandale, Burke, Gunston, Sterling, Herndon, and now with DMV FC. He spent five years as the Assistant Technical Director at ODFC. His teams have spanned a number of age groups and both genders, including groups like 99B and 99G, 01G, 02G, 04G, and 06G. His 01G excelled ranking as high as #4 nationally.
Andres is also the owner of ACC ELITE 1ON1, a private training company where he specializes in personal training for individuals and small groups.
Playing Experience
Growing up in Bogota, Columbia, Andres’s love for the game developed early. He moved to the US in 1999 and began playing in local youth clubs like NVSC and SYA where he was a VA State Cup Champion three years in a row (04-06). As a high school player with Parkview, he was First Team All-State and VA Gatorade Player of the Year in 2008.
After graduating high school, Andres briefly played for the Boyaca Chico Futbol Club reserve team in his home country before a career-ending injury.
